By following Route 4, trainers can make their way to Cerulean City where the third gym badge can be earned. This tunnel-like path, leads through Mt. Moon. Rock, ground and a few water type pokemon may be found here.

Board Description
Mt. Moon

Route 3 diverges in two different directions. By going north, one can reach the entrance to Mt. Moon. Not many people know why, but a strange aura surrounds this mountain range. An aura that allows the pokemon 'Clefairy' to evolve into a Clefable. Of course, there are some trainers who try to come here to collect this elusive pokemon, but not many have been able to succeed.
